James Bond wouldn't expect his leading ladies to be anything other than beautifully dressed, and last night none of them let him down.While 007 usually battles against evil villains and exploding cars, it was the women's turn to fight it out at the Die Another Day premiere last night - with style.
Shirley Bassey of lung-busting Goldfinger fame, is keen to get her larynx round another James Bond theme, she told me at last nights party after the premiere of Die Another Day. "Id do it like a shot, given the chance" she told me. "Bonds are all a bit soft nowadays. Back when I did Goldfinger, Bond was a real tough guy". Guests gorged on £300,000 worth of vintage champagne and vodka as well as lobster, crab and oysters. Seven types of Bond inspired cocktails were served at the bar, shaken not stirred.
