Please note that the off-the-shoulder gown in
this lot worn by Dame Shirley Bassey in 'Live From the Piccadilly' was made by
Sara Perceval.
Two Spanish-style gowns comprising: a
flamenco-style dress of black satin, the bodice embroidered with white stylised
carnations, the multi-layered skirt embroidered with white polka dots and edged
with a gathered ruffle, with detachable train, the shoulders trimmed with
similar ruffled layers; and
- an off-the-shoulder gown, the black chiffon ground embroidered with close
vertical rows of black bugle beads, the scoop neck with a deep frill of black
and white taffeta trimmed with a central white silk rose, the hem of
corresponding black and white ruffles raised at the centre with a black silk
rose (2)
