An elegant bias cut sleeveless evening gown with
scoop neck and flowing train, the blood red silk ground embroidered overall with
ruby red bugle beads in vermicular pattern, labelled inside Isabell Kristensen
Couture London, lined in blood red satin; with corresponding soft carry case
Weight of gown: approx. 2.5kg.
The photograph illustrated shows Dame Shirley wearing this gown with Isabell
Kristensen at a Versace/De Beers Diamonds Are Forever Fashion Show, Syon House,
London, June, 1999. Dame Shirley also wore this gown during her performance at
the BAFTA James Bond Tribute evening, 28th
December, 2002.
