An ornate evening ensemble, the strapless gown
with fitted bodice covered in layers of burnished gold organza petals, slit
centrally to the upper leg, the skirt with flowing train lined in gold organza;
with matching hooded voluminous cape with three-quarter length sleeves and
crystal detail to the neck, the dress labelled inside Isabell Kristensen London;
and a pair of gold leather court shoes with three inch waisted heel, labelled on
the insole Valmy Moda.
The photograph illustrated shows Dame Shirley wearing this ensemble during a
photo shoot for the programme for her Millenium Tour,
1998-2000.
