Lyrics
With Al Corley

AC: (laughs) You know sitting here next to you now
it's as if I was meeting you for the very first time

This time it's through
Between us two
I'm through with you

AC: Oh come on you don't mean that
I really do

AC: But baby you got to believe me
Believe in you
Oh if I could
I really would

AC: give it a try

But it's no good

AC: Hey I promise you things will be different now
You promised me
Promised forever
and all I've got are souvenirs
to remember

AC: ah but baby you are the beginning of my day the wind that blows my cares away
I know, you've got a way with words
AC: well if you say so
Yes you have and just as soon as my back is turned
You'll be off without a care in the world
Why should I care even when you're not here?
I feel so good, I've got my souvenirs

Remember, Remember, Remember
AC: oh I'm here
Remember I'll always remember
AC: Just you
Those moments so tender so tender
September, October, November, December
Remember the days that we had
The way that we were

AC: The way you looked that night how could you blame me for giving you the eye
I caught your glance
I took a chance
A real romance
AC: Romancing and dancing, that's me
I took the chance

AC: Do you remember what I said to you?

A whispered word
something I heard
but so absurd
AC: where have you been all my life?
You and your words
AC: but let's now forget the good times
The times we had were so exciting
And the way you spoke to me was so inviting

AC: oh honey you are like a flower that'll never wilt, a painting that'll never fade
I know, you've got a way with words
AC: and if you didn't exist I would invent you
sure you would
but just as soon as my back is turned
you'll be off without a care in the world
why should I care even when you're not here?
I feel so good, I've got my souvenirs

Remember, Remember, Remember
AC: You and me
Remember I'll always remember
AC: Just the two of us
Those moments so tender so tender
September, October, November, December
Remember the days that we had
The way that we were

Remember, Remember, Remember
AC: I am never going to forget
Remember I'll always remember
AC: Oh baby
Those moments so tender so tender
September, October, November, December
Remember the days that we had
The way that we were
