01.  2:10 - 6:39  As If We Never Said Goodbye

Shirley:
Thank you! Thank you, and a very, very good evening to you ladies and gentlemen. Believe it or not, this is the first time I've ever appeared in front of a great and vast celebrity audience, and, believe me, it's terribly daunting. But I'm sure we're going to have a wonderful time, judging from your wonderful, wonderful applause.

This next song was written for me by my dear friend Norman Newell, who wrote for me many of my hits. And this one is the last one he wrote for me. Thank you Norman!

02.  7:50 - 10:24  I Was Born To Sing Forever (Born To Sing)

03.  10:34 - 13:52  The Lady Is A Tramp

04.  13:55 - 19:03  I Want To Know What Love Is

(Commercial Break)

05.  19:03 - 21:17  'S Wonderful

Thank you very much. This is the spot where you get to ask me anything you want. I mean, make it as personal as you want. I don't care. Go on, go on, make me happy, give it to me.

Barbara Knox (British Actress) waves her hand:
"Miss Bassey!"

Shirley:
Uuuh.
Barbara: Miss Bassey!
Shirley:
I knew it was going to be a woman first.
Barbara: You're such a wonderful international star...
Shirley:
Oh, thank you
Barbara: ...and you're always so glamorous. Can I ask you, when you're going to pay your paper bill? Seriously.
(Barbara Knox plays Rita Fairclough/Sullivan in the British soap-opera "Coronation Street". She owns a newsagents. So, as a joke, she asks Shirley when she is going to pay the bill for her newspapers.)
Shirley:
(laughing) I'm working on it, I'm working on it. I'm doing this show tonight.

Barbara:
That's nice to hear cause that dress didn't cost three pence, did it? Seriously, darling. I've been a fan of yours for years. Would you please sing - I don't know which song to choose - but one of my favourites is - would you sing Something?
Shirley:
Which one? Yes I'd be delighted to, but which one?
Barbara: Well, the lovely one that you made. And it's so wonderful, by George Harrison. Please sing for us all.
Shirley:
Oh, that one, I would be delighted to. Maestro, please.

06.  22:50 - 26:30  Something

Shirley:
Thank you. Anybody else? Max! You ask.
Max Bygraves: You don't mind if I'm standing up, Shirley? I just paid 600 Pounds for the suit. You're looking wonderful, Shirley, and singing like a bird.

Shirley:
Thank you.
Max: And you bear out everything I've been saying for many, many years: You're the best entertainer in the world...
Shirley:
Oh, thank you, Max!
Max: ...Female!
Shirley: I thought there was a catch in it!
Max: But Shirley, you're wonderful.
Shirley:
Thanks Max.
Max:
Would you sing a request for me called...
Shirley: I would be delighted to.
Max: ... Never, Never, Never. Beautiful.
Shirley: Thank you.

07.  27:40 - 31:30  Never, Never, Never

Shirley: Thank you.
Jimmy Tarbuck (UK TV comedian, had Shirley as guest sometimes): "Shirley?"
Shirley: Yes?
Jimmy: If I may?

Shirley:
Oh.
Jimmy: How are you dear?
Shirley: James, hello James
Jimmy: I won't stand up. I stay sat down, I've got Max's old suit on! So, you are without doubt the sexiest grandmother I've ever seen in my life. If my little old Gran in Liverpool looked like you, I'd go down there three times a week, I promise you! I want to know, where is the most romantic place you've ever sang and performed?
Shirley:
You really don't want to know that.
Jimmy: As a matter of fact, I do!
Shirley: You really don't. It was in my bed actually at the time. I won't tell you with whom.
Jimmy:
Well indeed, which one. If it's one from the bedroom? Little things mean a lot.
Shirley: All biscuits in bed or crumbs I have slept with.

Anthea Turner (formerly a popular TV presenter who presented at the time the "National Lottery Show", hence the remarks "balls that have dropped" and "did I win"):
Shirley!

Shirley:
Oh yes, it's so revealing!
Anthea: Here, Anthea Turner. I've got a request for you.
Shirley:
Did I win? I did!
Anthea: I didn't win. But I have got a request for you. And it's really going back about the bedroom.
Shirley:
Again? We're not getting off this sexombola!
Anthea: I still have a request for you. For everybody's balls that have dropped.
Shirley: I don't know that one.
Anthea: I think you do, honestly. It's for all those people who won money on the national lottery. Millions of pounds they've won.
Shirley: Balls that have dropped?
Anthea: No, it's Hey, Big Spender.
Shirley: You frightened me for a moment. I'm happy to do that. Did you buy a ticket this week?

08.  33:20 - 35.13  Big Spender

Shirley:
Thank you, thank you!
Britt Ekland (Swedish actress (*1946), had been Bond Girl (1974 Mary Goodnight in "The Man with the Golden Gun"), friend of Rod Stewart until 1977): Shirley? Everyone says...

Shirley:
You're looking very sexy! How dare you outdo me tonight?
Britt: I'm just going to ask you something tonight. But can I just ask you: your arms, I've never seen such great arms. Are they beautiful or not? Believe me, that takes a lot of hard work.
Shirley: You know that, yes.

Britt:
But, I mean I'm covering up in shame yet. In sequins but in shame. What is your secret? Megastar all these years?
Shirley: Well I, ah, apart from shopping a lot, which takes out a lot of calories, especially when they tell me the price, you know, that's cardiovascular, going like that.
Britt: A lot of pounds!
Shirley: Yes, and I do starve myself a lot.
Britt: Good.
Shirley: I seem to get by on very little. I have one meal a day. Lots of snacks in between. And I work out at the gym. And I take lots of vitamins. And that's it, honestly. I mean, there is no youth thing. I wish I could tell you that - you know - that you're gonna get muscles like that by taking a pill. I think there's a pill in it, actually, a big one.

Britt: Will you sing for me?
Shirley: Yes, I'd be delighted to sing for you.
Britt: This Is My Life.

09.  36:58 - 40:37  This Is My Life

(Commercial Break)

10.  40:46 - 43:45  Goldfinger

Shirley:
Thank you, thank you very much. Now I was... I thought it was going to eat me for a while, but it did tick me to death. (talking about the feather boa) This song Goldfinger is on my new album. The new album, being that, oh, we're recording famous songs from famous films. And being with that, is one of the most famous songs from one of the most famous Bond films. We had to include that. This next song was written by Lionel Bart for "Oliver", which was a film. But I'm not going to tell you which song. You know this time.

11.  44:31 - 47:44  As Long As He Needs Me

Shirley:
Thank You Lionel, Thank You.

12.  47:57 - 51:32  I Am What I Am

Shirley:
My musical director, Mr. Colin Green, and the ladies and gentlemen of the orchestra, and the audience. Thank you very much. I see you later. Bye. Thank you so much.

(Receives Flowers)

Shirley:
Thank you so much.

The original TV broadcasting ended here, but on the video there is a further song:

13.  53:03 - 56:58  Tonight I Gave The Greatest Performance Of My Life

Shirley:
Thank You.
